Chris Osgood co-Founded and co-chairs of Mayor Walsh’s Office of New Urban Mechanics, which is Boston’s civic innovation group. Through collaborations with entrepreneurs inside and outside of government, the office experiments with new approaches to service delivery and streetscape design. Before joining the Mayor’s Office in 2006, Osgood received his MBA from the Harvard Business School after serving for five years with the City of New York’s Department of Parks & Recreation as its senior advisor and chief of staff. Throughout his career, Osgood has focused on designing, implementing and managing programs and policies that help local governments engage with and respond to constituents.
